Buyers Watching
I am still having problems with my Watch List, I have tried suggestions in the past but not one worked.  I am assuming there is 'watchers' as there are lots of clicks.

if you have watchers you will see them on your selling page.

If you want to remove the watchers just tick the box beside each item that has watchers then go to either the top or the bottom of the page, click on bulk edit and clear watchers.

Hope that helps
Ellen

ps, you can have heaps of clicks with no watchers

I know there should be 'watchers' as I have had sales, apparently you have to click a box for them to show up, dont know how to do it, it is NOT a user friendly site.

To see if you have watchers on your items, go to your selling page, look across the heading until you see CLICKS.  Under that column, you'll see the amount of clicks each item has and IF there are watchers (visible or not), they'll show up under the clicks... like this....

    22
1 watcher

You can click on the watchers link but only watchers wanting to be visible will be shown in the box...

Browse Watchers

Allows you to view which members are watching your item.
Note: Only watchers that have agreed to be visible will be shown below.

There isn't any box to tick, if you have watchers they will show on your selling page underneath the number of clicks.  You also don't need watchers to have buyers, they might have clicked on the item and bought straight away instead of watching the item first.

thanks, I may be confusing it with eBay, but I am sure I used to have watchers.  I closed my account for a year or so and now I have reactivated I dont get watchers.

madrocki , go into your listings now and you'll see I'm watching one of your items .

That's how it displays in your "My Selling" list

as far as postage costs are concerned I see that you send via traceable ( actually you should say "trackable") postage with AP so that makes your postage smack on at $8.

I just put 3 of your items on watch to let you see what it looks like, go to your selling page and you will see what nara was telling you.

You can remove watchers from your list but they will still be on the watchers list.

A lot of people buy without ever watching first so don't get discouraged just because there are no watchers.

A lot of watchers never buy anything.i ignore watchers,as i believe that if you're going to buy it you will, not watch something for months on end

Thanks for all your comments.  I got up this morning and checked my Quicksales to find I had plenty of watchers, so someone was listening.

i had about a 8 month break from selling on oztion/quicksales.
I started listing again December and so far have had 1 sale, but what I thought was odd, was this week, 12 watchers have suddenly  appeared to watch my items & some items have up to 3 watchers (I have never had that many watchers before) fingers crossed!!!!!

madrocki, I hope they are real watchers and not the members above who put at least 4 items of yours on watch to show you what it looked like ;)

There are many reasons to have watchers.
Those spam emails often come from bogus accounts who watch.
Some just want to see if you actually sell something they sell.
Very few watchers buy.

What is concerning is the number of clicks but lack of sales.
I'm starting to wonder if those clicks include web bots.
Are they actually clicks at all or just page views?
I have my suspicions.

Lots of my watchers turn into buyers, generally within a week to 10 days of my noticing them. Maybe waiting for funds? or checking out similar items, waiting til they get more computer time to browse to combine? could be many reasons.

I have read previously that google shopping picks up items and records a view/click, but I'm not up on that side of things.  Some members also reckon they get clicks straight away sometimes and think that it must be as the item shows on the home page as newly listed as some buyers look there first?
