Best wire for Earing Hooks
 Hello Everyone,

Could someone tell me whats the best wire or hooks to buy....to use for someone that has an allergic reaction as soon as she puts a cheapy pair of earrings in? Is it the nickel thats bad? or do i have to get straight gold or silver? or is gold plated ok....I've heard that sometimes they still have nickel in them.

I like surgical steel hooks, they don't give me a reaction like plated hooks do.

Some cheapie wires make my ears hurt too so what I do is coat them with clear nail varnish. that solves the problem.
no good if giving as a pressie. but ok for your own use.
