Best time of month to open shop for fees

Hi! I had a shop on here for years, but have closed that down as I am heading in a new direction and going to open a new one. I remember reading before, but can't find now, people advising best time of month to open a vshop. Should I wait until the start of the month to open a shop so I get the full month for my fees, or if I open now, do I get billed $5 for the rest of this month, or do I not pay until the start of next month.

 In the early days I think you used to get the balance of the month you opened the shop for free and then were charged for the shop at the beginning of the next month.  But I seem to remember seeing somewhere that that had now changed and you get charged as soon as you open the shop.  I could be wrong though, perhaps it would be best to ask admin.

I also recall reading that as soon as you open a vshop, you are instantly charged the monthly shop fee.

You get charged on the same day each month that you opened your shop, not on the 1st of the month like it used to be.

I get charged on the 15th of every month.  When I go to my shop settings page it tells me when I'll be billed next, just in case I can't remember what day they charge me.

Thanks so much everyone for your help.
Think I will concentrate on getting some stock up and listed first, then I'll open a shop again after I've got a fair bit up. I have people crying out for a website from me though with my new direction of items, so I will have to make the time to get it going in a reasonable time frame.

By the way, when I said a website, my vshop will be my website :) Did research and couldn't beat it for value plus I know and love this system. Will just use a redirecting shorter URL to direct people to it :)
