Best Hair Straightener
Im hoping some Oztionites will be able to help me some suggestions on what the best hair straightener on the market is! And why its the best and if its not asking too much, roughly how much they are!! I currently use a Remington Slimline which for me just isnt doing its job properly!

Hi. I have a GHD one, best $200 I ever spent after having a cheapie from K-mart. Definately worth the money in my opinion.

The Stefan hair straightener is $170 and it is fabulous as well.
It makes my hair look so shiny and silky.

Iv'e also used the Remington and I found dried  my hair out a little and was a little frizzy.

I just got my daughter one, she picked out Tresemme EHD Ceramic Technology and Fast Heat Up by Philips Professional Straight Results. She thinks it's great.

It only cost me $33.

Thanks for all your responses!! I have heard a lot about GHD but the price has always put me off! But I won a $70 voucher and Im going to put it towards the straightener!

Where can I get GHD from??

Buy it from a hairdressers or hairdressers supply shop, that way you know you are getting the "genuine" thing because s with everything else, there are fakes on the market and ones from overseas that have had the AUs plug put on.

I have one by SHE which is manufactured by the same company that make GHD.  Basically it's the same one with a different name, I paid $99 for it and I love it.

With two teenaged daughters who have tried any number of hair straighteners, I have to admit that the GHD is by far the best.

Ghd for my daughters aswell. They ahve the pink one and do the twists and curls and straightening. Also it doesnt fry their hair as much as the others they have used.

Yep, there is way less frying of hair with the GHD. In fact, their hair seems to be in gorgeous condition after using it! Plus the straightening seems to last longer than with other straighteners.

We got ours on the dark side a few years ago, bona fide product and really nice seller.  I would go and look, but I haven't logged in there in ages!

GHD!!! I bought an Urban Culture to begin with (I didn't want to spend the $$ as the UC was cheaper). It did a good job, but I was never happy with the result like the GHD, so I ended up buying one. In the end I spent more as I have bought 2!!

GHD by far lol.

Partner works at the good guys, and he was trying to say the new vss saloon is better than the GHD. BUT i'm a tried and true fan of the GHD's!

Will never go back to any other brand again!

The best hair straightener is the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. the price is around $140. it works pretty good with any type of hair.

GHD's work best but break in less than 1 year.  I have purchased 5 in my time from salons so they are authentic and i am sick of replacing them.
Because we can't re-sell even the genuine ones when the new models come out i am going to change to silver bullet brand with my next one they are also good.
