 does anyone know the year they first came out?

Google isn't my friend on this one and it's not printed on the dolls

 oh pffft I googled history of baby born, waded through a history of Zapf which was just for the sharemarket, read all their blather on the wonders of the stupid doll and somehow I missed that one.
