Anyone use a Lip Colour/Stain ( not actual lipstick)
Do they work ? There is one type that is like a felt pen but reading some feedback on the product a lot say the colour doesn't last long and that it the pen dries out quickly.

I just want something to stain my lips a gentle colour and then use a gloss etc for a more natural look.

I like the 16 hour lipsticks but something lighter is nicer.

I will have a rummage through my beauty case and see what I can come up with, I usually just use zinc cream

Wasn't planning on any sunbaking Spade , although a bit of sun after 4 months of rain would be nice

The best for a stain to wear under lipgloss is the Perfect wear lipsticks from Avon

I use Totally Twig, or Enduring Wine......put it on as normal...wait a few minutes, then 'kiss a tissue' this will give you that nice stained colour.  I then go over it with a little Juicy Shine lip gloss by Lancolme...or you can leave it as a matt look

Benefit Benetint or Posietint. Benetint is a red and Positint is a pink, I use both depending on what colour I want and nothing is better!

Yes I use one by Mirenesse, it comes with the stain and a coloured gloss to put over the top, but they can be used seperately of course.   I find the colour lasts a long time - on my lips anyway :)

Do you not find the tint gives a sort of bleeding look? Do you use a little liner too? I've always like the idea of a tint as i'm not a lipstick fan but never got the hang of it when I tried it years ago.
