Anyone expecting a Xmas baby?
Any Mothers out there expecting a Xmas baby.

I've only ever known a handful of people that were born on Xmas day.

My one and only grandson (so far) was born last Christmas day.
A week early so was a great surprise.

Just as we were about to sit down to Christmas lunch son had to wiz her off to hospital which was an hour away by road.

I just hope that in the future everyone remembers to celebrate his birthday as well as Christmas.

My girlfriends brother was born on Christmas day and was names Noel. I always felt sorry for him as everyone used to give him one gift which was for both Christmas and his birthday. I always gave give two gifts one for each occasion.

I just hope the same doesn't happen to my gorgeous grandson as he grows up

When you think about it though, it is a very special day to have a baby isn't it.
cheers

My sister is an xmas baby :-) Her name is Natalie, and the meaning of Natalie is birthday, referring to the birth of Christ. As a child she never found it a good thing, as she felt she didnt get double presents as she should have! Now though she loves just having a bday cake at xmas, so hassle free.

A friend in Holland was born on Christmas day but as it is not in the Dutch culture to give presents on Christmas day she never missed out and as she is religious she liked it.

As for me I am happy that there is 6 months between b'day and Christmas.....makes the waiting pretty even lol

My friend is due for her first on Christmas Day.
I hope it comes before that as rain is expected and being in a country area i think shes going to have trouble getting to hosp with the floods.

I know two Christmas Eve babies - well very much adults now!!  But yes, they are with Natalie, didn't like it much.

Hubby is on the 12 of Jan and finds he only gets one lot of prezzies that close even let alone being on the same day!

My eldest daughter was born 4 days after Christmas, and I always felt that was too close. Marian

When I was in my baby planning stage of life, I actually planned that I would not have a december or January baby. Lucky me it did work out.....If I would not have fallen pregnant as easy as I did I think I would have just been happy whenever it happened.
