Always Next Year
Prepare for next year SAINTS
Pity the umpires didn't give a few free kicks your way as well.

Unfortunately, it would have taken a lot more than a few free kicks for them to have been in the game.

They needed to be more direct with the ball and quit kicking out to the wing all the time.  Their game was predictable and nowhere near the standard of the other side.  Way too many handballs again, just like last week.

I was going for the Saints the whole time, so no, I'm not a Collingwood supporter.  In fact, I despise them lol.

Bring on the NRL Grand Final tomorrow :)

And if they'd had time on last week, The Saints would have won as they were coming home stronger than the Pies.
The Pies are just lucky they got a second chance this week.

The next wekks papers are going to be printed in B&W and you won't be able to get to the news until after going past 40 pages of B&W.
Oh well, they'll sell another 50,000 more copies more than they normally would.

They couldn't do it last year, they couldn't do it last week and they couldn't do it today, I think they have had their chance. They weren't even playing the same class of football today

So true Spade, I sometimes wondered if I was watching the same team as last week.   They seemed flat and lacklustre most of the game.

Oh well, next year's another story...............go Lions.

P.S. Go Roosters tomorrow......................surely I can pick one winner

I think I would like to see the Roosters win although I don't follow either team, apparently there is some kind of bad blood between the coaches and I would like to see Bennett lose

AWWWWWWWWW Spade, why would you like to see Wayne Bennett lose,?? he is one of the most down to earth-type people whom you would ever meet....and has done so much for other people......maybe I am a softie, but I always feel really sorry for the losers of any game.....I am a huge Dragons fan, and have been since they were St.George, in the 70's. I say good luck, and may the best team on the day win......Hope it's the dragons of course......Anna-Rose(Puddimoo).
