Question - posted by charity-begins-at-home at 11-Dec-2009
Hi There, I live in Liverpool area which isnt far from you so i was wondering if you allow picksups (if i buy a few items) OR as we are in the same postal zone (auspost classifys us both in the N1 postal zone area) Auspost allows for postage of upto 20kg for only $7.45, so would you be willing to let me purchase/win a few records and post them together for $7.45???? Thanks, Kyley
Answer
G'Day Kyley, Pickup is Fine By Me But I Am Really Only Here in Campbelltown from Monday to Thursday Morning OK. I Have a Lot More Records To List Yet - Are You Mainly Interested in Albums or Singles? Regards Paul

Hi Paul, THANKS for the quick reply. Does that mean that you will post them for the $10.45? Being $7.45 postage costs as we are in same postal zone that allows for upto 20kg to be sent for that price PLUS the packing costs you stated of $3??? I am actually after records by the sweet, van halen, uriah heap (if thats how its spetl?), and stuff like that. My dad would love them, and he needs a pick me up/special gift this xmas as both my grandparents died (which are my dads parents) about 3 months ago and he has been pretty depressed since. I know he loved his record collection and record player but his ex girlfriend took them all when she left (years ago) - so im hopeing to replace them, get some records and a player for xmas. I know he will love it. So if you got anything like that let me know. Thanks, Kyley

Feel Free To Give Me A Call OK - 46268064. I'd Suggest That You Do Not Buy One Of those Turntables at Target or Big W as they are Crap. You Really Need a Stereo With a Separate Amplifier. I Think Its Uriah Heep and I do have a Couple of Theirs Listed. I Could Even Put Some of them Onto CD But I Doubt Whether I Will Have Time Before Christmas. Regards Paul

Hi Paul, I have no access to a phone today, so email is my communication tool for today... As a single mum I am very limited on money so i have been looking on ebay for a record player, even if it is vintage it is still fine. I just need to see my Dad smile again, the past months have been very hard for him, losing both parents within 4 weeks of each other and so recently. I remember growing up my dad would put on The Sweet & Van Halen on his record player and listen to them. He was devastated when his girlfriend left and took all the records and the player with her. He loved them!. I have thought long & hard about what i can buy him for xmas, something that has meaning & will make him smile... Then i thought about the whole record player thing & getting some records by The Sweet, Van Halen, Uriah Heep etc etc. I knew it would be the perfect gift!. I am limited on money so have been searching for records & players that are second hand. Funny i have seen many record players at 2nd hand/charity shops over the months & at good prices ($20 etc) and never once thought of getting it for my Dad... Now im looking for the records & player and plus needing to make sure they arrive by xmas too!. Anyway, tell me what you have got (by artists, as above) and what you can do for me. I just want to see someone else happy this xmas - that will make me happy too!. Regards, Kyley
Answer
I really Can't Tell You what I've Got As My Record Collection Is Not Organised At All. If You Search on Oztion you can See What I Have Listed. It Would Take Me Days To Go Through My Record Collection Just To Look. Maybe Still Look In The Charity Shops For a Record Player or Look At The Garage Sales. Paul

Thanks for giving me the info on the whole RPM thing and it's meaning - appreciated. WOW i did not realise how many records you actually had for sale, it's taking me a while to get through them all!. I get paid this wednesday so just wanted to make sure that if i pick out some items to buy and pay for them on wednesday that you have a bank near me, just wanted to ask what bank your with (westpac, anz, etc) AND when you would be able to post them off to me?. Thanks Paul, regards Kyley.
Answer
G'Day Kyley, Unfortunately My Bank or Building Society is The Greater Building Society and There is No Bank Branch anywhere near you. So maybe its best if you come collect them after all or alternately send me Cash in the Mail. I'll be home Tuesday and Wednesday OK. Regards Paul
